Dearest is a progressive metal trio consisting of internationally acclaimed musicians - Andy Cizek, Anup Sastry and Lukas Guyader. As established members within the metal community, they’ve set out to create something unique by drawing on the musical nostalgia of their adolescence while also staying true to the progressive metal roots that they are known for. In doing so, their inaugural EP ‘Retrograde’ blends strong pop sensibilities with instrumental complexity to create an accessible but dense listen that is deeply rewarding.
