Ellen and the Degenerates are a punk band from Brooklyn, New York formed in 2015 thanks to the mighty powers of Craigslist. Since then, they've undergone a few lineup changes, self-released two EP's, and put out their latest release Herb Alert (2017) via What's For Breakfast? Records. Their debut LP, Return of the Herb, was released 2/15/19 via War Fever Recordings. A few months later, the Degenerates had their final show in June 2019 in Brooklyn. Former members still play in Answering Machine, Depressed Mode, Heavy Lag, High Cost, Snakeskin, and Up for Nothing.
