Biography

Andrea Menard is an acclaimed Métis performer who crosses cultural and language boundaries by speaking from her heart. She has released four award-winning albums, and two made-for-television programs, spearheaded a positive music initiative called the “Music Messengers”, and has performed and spoken all over the world. Andrea has performed for Royalty, Prime Ministers, Ambassadors and Governor-Generals, residential school Survivors, families of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and even sang her song “Peace” to the world’s NATO generals. In support of her TEDx talk, Andrea debuted her new single, called Silent No More, to help end violence against women. The song was released on March 3rd, 2018 and the video was released on April 5, 2018. Not one to shy away from her Métis heritage, which has a long history of bridging two cultures, Andrea, and long-time co-writer and producer, Robert Walsh, create music meant to bring divergent communities together. She dedicates her life and work to promoting balance, reconciliation and unity among all nations by singing uplifting songs and telling inspiring stories.
