Biography

Emery Adeline has spent her twenty-seven years of life with firm roots in the Colorado soil before moving to Nashville, Tennessee where she has lived for the past 8 years. Her powerful and honest storytelling comes through without fear in every word she writes. Each song becomes a snapshot of a moment in time that enables the listener to exist in her world. Emery finds home amongst like-minded strong and independent women Patty Griffin, Kacey Musgraves, Lana Del Rey, Stevie Nicks, Alison Krauss, and Sheryl Crow. Like these powerful female voices, Emery hopes to use her voice to drive and inspire the next generation of girls. 
 Even before the release of her first project, Killin’ Time, Adeline was selected as a finalist in the prestigious 2018 Telluride Troubadour competition, which brings together songwriters from around the world during the 45th Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival. “I just want to write music that helps other people move through life and feel connected,” Adeline says. “I’m making music that I want to listen to that I believe in and I hope that other people will want to come along for the ride.”
