Q-York is a multi-award winning Filipino-American Hip Hop record production duo composed of Flava Matikz (DJ/producer) & Knowa Lazarus (MC/songwriter). The name Q-YORK originated from Queens, New York where they are from. They have collaborated with legendary OPM artists such as Jay Durias, Kris Lawrence, Yeng Constantino, Jay R, Ogie Alcasid, Gloc-9 and many more. Endorsed by FIBA 3X3 they tour around the world as MC & DJ of the international street basketball tournament. Q-York burst onto the music scene in 2009 with their hit song “Mainit” feat. 3x World Hip Hop dance champions The Philippine Allstars & have never cooled off.
