Who We Are Hailing from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, the Xtension Chords are composed of fifteen strapping young gentlemen. For the past twenty-seven years, the group has provided audiences with tight harmonies, smooth choreography, and, last but not least, good looks. What We've Done The Xtension Chords compete in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella every year and have advanced several years in a row. They also perform for events around campus including bid day, philanthropy events, and mom's weekend, as well as throughout the Midwest. Our Work In addition to live performances, the Xtension Chords have released multiple studio albums, dating back to the mid 1990s. Their most recent EP, "X-Static," was released in Summer 2018 and is available for purchase on iTunes. The album features hits such as "Burning Up," "Colder Weather," "Castle on the Hill," and more!
