fka michael blume the pandemic gave me an opportunity to listen in a way i never had. i left my record label, i moved to the desert, i received the healing of plant medicine, i dug deeply into meditation, stillness, silence. i asked myself: who are you when no one is applauding? daily meditation helped begin to reveal: i am god. i am trans. i am change. i am you. i am love. and what a joy to awaken to these truths. after 3 years of hiatus, i am launching my project, word to the trees. i changed my name because i want to honor the truth of what i am. when we awaken from the delusion of "self", we become whatever version of ourselves that we want to be at any time. we are 70% water. we are literally fluid. the crisis (yes, crisis) is that the delusion is profound and we are attached to the version of self that we (or others) have told us that we are. we must urgently break our own hearts and let go of everything we thought we were to become all the things we are. it doesn't have to be like this. and the only way out is in. love now. be whatever you. - whatever mike
