Biography

OVERSTREET is the Alt-Pop-Rock project of platinum recording artist and songwriter, Chord Overstreet. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Chord is the son of Grammy Award winning country music songwriter, Paul Overstreet . Chord moved to Los Angeles after high school to pursue music and acting. 
 In 2018, OVERSTREET launched the streaming hit Carried Away while still signed to Island Records. Carried Away was produced by Jayson Dezuzio (Imagine Dragons- Thunder) and co-written by Chord, Jayson and Nolan Sipe (Andy Grammar- Honey, I'm Good.) Carried Away is still featured on Spotify's Soak Up the Sun and It's ALT Good! playlists and has amassed over 4 million streams to date. 
 OVERSTREET's debut EP, Man on the Moon, was released in July of 2019 and the single, Monster, which was also produced by Dezuzio, was featured on Spotify's global "New Music Friday" playlist; as well as Indie Pop, New Alt, and It's Alt Good. The EP's lead single, All Nighter, was featured on KROQ's "Locals Only" playlist and was spun on KROQ (LA), Alt98.7 (LA), Z100 (NYC),107.5FM (Vegas), and broadcast to over 100 top 40 stations through Elvis Duran's morning show. 
 OVERSTREET will be releasing monthly singles over the summer of 2020; starting with the project's focus track, Summertime. Summertime will be released on April 24, 2020. The project's debut album is nearly complete and should be released later in 2020.
