 It’s impossible to remember my introduction to music, but one of my earliest memories is singing to animals outside of my grandma’s home. I’m pretty sure I was inspired to do so by some Disney movie, combined with the fact that I’m the only girl of 5 kids, so that often left me outside the loop left to play with my imagination. I wrote my first song in 4th grade, a gospel song. Too shy to share, I would usually write and silently sing to myself (or to the birds outside) or the 4 walls in my room. Eventually I came out of my shell, participating in talent shows during summer camp and singing in home room during middle and high school. Music has always been with and IN me, even when it wasn’t being mass distributed for all to hear. 
 Now we’re here. After years of being in and out of artistry, I am here to stay. This new confidence and permanence is largely due to my growth and experiences as a young woman. I found myself, then I found my sound. Now I want to bring you all along for the journey. It’s an emotional ride. It’s sometimes all over the place...but it’s real. 
 In a world where everybody wants to feel nothing…I just want you to feel something.
