Biography

Ponette combines grunge attitude with catchy hooks and dark, glitchy electro productions. Based in Oslo, the band has been creating an underground hype playing small clubs in Norway’s urban areas, club nights associated with Øyafestivalen and Norwegian wood, in addition to turning heads at the show case festivals by:larm and Trondheim Calling. 
 With two successful single release on their own label, Ponette gained support from leading tastemakers such as The Line of Best Fit, NRKP3 and electro heavy weights Röyksopp, being presented as one to watch the coming year. The band was also awarded “Band of the Week” by NRK P3 Urørt for their innovative sound and refreshing expression.
