Biography
Simon found a early passion for electronic music whilst growing up in the late 90’s and early 00’s. By the time he hit 18 he was already well submersed in electronic music and more so in the dance music scene, running local events in his home town. In 2012 Simon launched his own brand Sense Traxx, In 2016 Simon start working at Defected Records who then moved on to become the label manager of Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse & Madtech records working on the global strategy of the brands and A&R. Alongside his full time job Simon has been working on Sense Traxx and been growing, developing and making this brand a key part of the House scene of today. Since Sense Traxx launched as a label in 2016 signing what he feels is just a great selection of house music including names such as; Todd Terry, Kevin Over and music from himself. The Sense parties in Southend have showcased the hottest names in the underground along with hosting events in London, Ibiza, Germany and Luxembourg to name a few. Along with Simon’s very busy lifestyle and ability to wear different hats, he manages to keep a fair balance between different projects ensuring working to a highest standard. He has a great passion for the future of electronic dance music and hopes he can influence others in years to come, whilst taking inspiration and looking up to many of the great names and successors who have shaped the industry and culture we know and love today.”
