Biography

Famously known for taking part in the UK talent show 'The Voice UK’ selected by Will I Am, winning the hearts of many with his inspiring story of perseverance, in his case not allowing his speech impediment to hold him back from fulfilling his dreams. Mark born and raised in London to Ghanaian parents displayed his passion for music from an early age, sitting in front of the TV for hours watching the Box and MTV to singing around the house, He channelled his musical energy into beat making, teaching himself how to produce which led onto him composing beats for local artists. He landed his first publishing deal with Global Talent working professionally as a songwriter working with an array of artists and producers, then signed his first record deal to Island records as a part of a boyband named Encore. Mark continues to go from strength to strength releasing his own music independently, as well as working as a vocal producer and writer credited on major artists projects such as Ariana Grande, Craig David, Tinie Tempah and the 'Fifty Shades Darker Original soundtrack’. Mark releases his first 5 track Christian project ‘By Your Grace’ independently, and with his latest effort Mark showcases his prolific songwriting and production skills as he fuses his strong R&B roots along with Afro pop and Gospel to create his own lane. 2021 is shaping up to be one of Mark’s most career defining years to date as he continues to thrive into the most talked about names in R&B/ Gospel.
