Biography

The Danger of Falling got its start in Morgantown, WV in 2010. The band first turned heads within the greater underground hardcore scene when their debut EP “Hope/Well” released in August 2016, drawing comparisons to established acts in the genre such as Movements, Hundredth, Being As An Ocean, Norma Jean, Underoath, and more. Through 2017 and 2018 the band expanded their fan base via regional tours all while preparing for their next release. In March 2019, three years after "Hope/Well", the band released a new hard-hitting single "Burn Me" as the leading track for a new EP. That EP - "Somewhere Between You and Home" released May 2019 features of a mix of the signature sound that has built The Danger of Falling such a passionate and loyal fan base to date, with the title track single "Somewhere Between You and Home" already featured on Spotify playlists New Punk Tracks and Complete Chaos. For the rest of 2019, The Danger of Falling plan on continuing to branch out on regional tours and continue writing toward a larger release in 2020.
