Biography

Taking an interest in performing arts from the age of 6, born in Montreal, QC and raised in the south west borough of LaSalle, Treh LaMonte is no stranger to the stage. His early years were spent performing locally and competitively as a Hip-Hop dancer across the city. As his overall passion for music and performance grew, it gave birth to the artist we are experiencing today. Inspired by Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul & World music to name a few, you can expect to hear progressive and engaging backdrops to his records. With his 2016 single I'm Finessin, he reached more than 1 million streams and got major spins on Top 40 radio stations in Montreal. 2020 brought us a remix to an original single "Patience", featured on his debut EP Fall for a Real One (Frequency 1) this time featuring an R&B legend... Tank! With a message that is not to be mistaken. Patience, not just a song but something Treh clearly demonstrates is what gives his music substance and his passion is what keep him going.
