Biography

Hey, thanks for stopping by. This is Ace, vocalist of Never the Strangers. Let me tell you about us. 
 NTS formed in college, when the founding members (PJ, Francis, JP, and I) came together to emulate our musical heroes. 
 The name "Never the Strangers" is a mission statement of sorts: make great music that the world could not ignore—and so no one would be a stranger to us. 
 Our first album Never The Strangers is a collection of some of our most emotionally raw songs. Melancholy was at the heart of this record. 
 After a few member changes, our next line-up (Nash, Gab, JP, and I) came out with Screenburn, our sophomore record. The goal was to put together a conceptual album, whose tracks work as chapters adding to a larger narrative. I like to think Screenburn was more emotionally colorful than our self-titled release. 
 When Gab and JP left the band, Bert came in, and we dropped Touchdown. Our aim for this EP was to put our own spin on the trending genres at the time, specifically alternative RnB and synthwave. The project was a nice break from our rock sound, and we got to have fun with it. 
 After playing as a session bassist for some years, Nico officially joined us in 2022. He’s a pretty cool dude. 
 At this point, we’ve recorded a bunch of material which we hope to share with you soon.
