 Silja Rós is an Icelandic singer-songwriter, actress and a scriptwriter based in Reykjavík. She grew up in the singer-songwriter scene in Reykjavík. After competing in The Voice Iceland Silja released her debut album Silence which received great response, selected the “Album of the Week” at The Icelandic National Radio Station Rás 2. Silja's most recent release, the album Stay Still, has received great reviews from all around the world where Silja has been praised for her songwriting & breathtaking voice. Her music has been played at various radio stations including Rás2, Bylgjan, KissFm, Fm957 & K100. 
 Being a jazz vocalist Silja Rós seeks inspiration from jazz & soul when writing & arranging her own music. She is currently working on her 3rd album and writing a TV show. She recently competed in Söngvakeppnin 2023, Icelands pre-selection for ESC. 
 Silja is the singer of Magnus Dagsson’s album Afflicted which was released in September 2018. Silja Rós has worked with various artists including Future Lion, Rikardo and Darwin x Mainecoon. As a songwriter Silja Rós doesn't stick to one genre and easily aligns with the artists need be it rock, pop or even EDM.
