Biography
Ian McConnell is attempting to evade the sophomore slump. Last year’s project Season 1 was honestly so fire and went over so well that he doesn’t even feel the urge to try and top it. You know like when you get a super high score in a video game one time and then you’re like “well, probably not gonna beat that unless I spend way more time on this than I’m willing to spend” so you just kinda move on to something else? That’s where Ian finds himself. His new endeavor is to live scientifically and turn it into art. Find out what is true about the world to the best of his ability, and express those findings through music and words and images. In this way, each piece of art is a snapshot of Ian’s understanding of the world at the time of its creation, with the expectation that as that understanding evolves, so does its expression. Ian’s AA series (his *current* project, if you will excuse the electrical pun), pairs two songs at a time to examine a specific life circumstance through both a positive and a negative light. All aspects of the series’ creation - writing, recording, producing/mixing, cover artwork, video recording and editing, social media manipulation, probably some other stuff too - is done by Ian alone. Aight, Ian’s biographer out. He doesn’t pay me enough for any more than that. L8r sk8rs
