Biography

Strandels, consisting of the siblings Tova and Sixten Strandell, have been singing together for as long as they can remember. Already at the age of 13 and 11 they developed their own sound, and has since then continued in the same style of country-pop. A few years ago they started working with a producer which really got their career started. The collaboration lead to a record deal with TEN Music Group, where they were signed as the duo ‘Strandels’. Their signing later led to the release of there first EP ‘Chance of Rain’ in late 2016. Since then they have been spending a lot of time in the studio writing, in both Stockholm and LA, and are flourishing as both writers and artists. They released their single ‘If God Has A Plan’ and had their first ever tour with a total of 18 stops during summer 2017. Their new single "Need Your Love" will be released on August 24, 2018. Strandels are just in the beginning of their career but has already grown as a duo in their unique situation as one of the few siblings on the Swedish market, and we can’t wait to see what’s going to happen in the future for this fantastic duo.
