Biography

Montréal native Debbie Tebbs is a singer-songwriter, producer and DJ whose music is a mix of synth pop using electronic instruments and new wave. Named “Female Electronic Artist of the Year” at the 2009 Montreal DJ Awards, she received three nominations for “Electro Album of the Year” at the Alternative Independent Music Gala of Quebec (GAMIQ) in 2014, 2018 and 2020. Graphic designer of her own music videos, Debbie Tebbs’ vast body of work includes albums such as ‘Modern Talking’ (2012), ‘UP!’ (2014), ‘RE-UP!’ (2015), ‘Chrome’ (2018) and ‘Polychrome’ (2020). Characterized by collaborations with artists such as Valaire, Radio Radio, Miro, Caracol, Millimetrik and DJ Champion, her contagious pop and dynamic rhythms make her today one of Quebec’s most compelling electro-pop artists. www.debbietebbs.com
