Biography

With more than a decade of exploring the meanders and confines of electronic music through an impressive catalog of releases, Millimetrik (Pascal Asselin) is currently creating his tenth and most surprising work to date, Sun-drenched. When we revisit the journey of this veteran of the Quebec electronic music scene, winner of the Félix award for best electronic album at the ADISQ Gala 2019, we see that he is constantly seeking to reinvent himself through concepts nourished by traval, photography and cinema. The sounds that cross his seventeen-year career evoke a wide musical landscape ranging from ambient, trip-hop and now house, disco, soul and dance music. The Quebec City native has performed on the stages of the Osheaga Festival, the FEQ, the FME, Mutek and the Brussels Electronic Music Festival, among others.
