Biography

NO CRAFTS is a power trio from Madrid, Spain, that began its journey in the summer of 2015. With only four years of activity, and despite the youth of its members - barely exceed twenty - they have already managed to attract the attention of the specialized press, positioning themselves as one of the most interesting bands in the national indie scene. With a sound that feeds on influences such as Deerhunter, The Cure or Cloud Nothings, NO CRAFTS create a sophisticated mix of garage rock with indie rock traces: guitar riffs with the perfect point of reverb, a powerful rhythm section and brilliant vocal games. The result can be seen in some hits of their first stage, "Dancing Alone" (2015), "Never Going Down" / "Popular Trial" (2016) and specially "Heartburn" (CIUDAD OASIS, 2018). After sharing billboards with the likes of Capsula, Rufus T. Firefly, Texxcoco or The Orwells and being finalists in Mad Cool Talent 2018, NO CRAFTS have proven to be amply prepared to occupy a privileged place within the scene. Their first EP, "No Arts, No Crafts" (Clifford Records, 2017) predicted a promising future; the musical sophistication achieved with "Heartburn" (CIUDAD OASIS, 2018) only confirms those first omens.
