Change is a force of nature. When folk singer and historical multi-instrumentalist Kati Rán embarked on her a musical career, it was so that a new, primal vision could emerge, unbound by conventional song structure, she weaves topics of nature, ancient mythology and history together in a folkloric sound tapestry where intuition and the elemental meet. Kati Rán is a Dutch audio producer, lyricist, vocalist and historic multi-instrumentalist. As a performer on historical, nordic, ethnic and medieval instruments since the early 2000's she is considered a genre pioneer in modern popular nordic- and pagan- folkmusic. According to Kati Rán 'Music is a reminder that we are part of nature and can be considered as one of the strongest ways to communicate with one another on a deeply intimate and personal level. Music can transmit universal emotions and a connection to divine wisdom that reverberates through all Era's. Therefore, music may cause the listener to wake up and see the beauty of the dream called Life'. Kati Rán currently records her new, upcoming full length album and works in various music departments as guest performer for tv-, film and videogame sound productions.
