Amarante is an Indie, Folk, Alternative artist/singer/songwriter (Josh Hewitt) from the Los Angeles / Riverside area in California. 
 The sounds of Amarante are produced from inside a small 3 bedroom apartment. With the latest technology, Amarante's music has reached all corners of the globe where music is available to those that can access music. As one fan best put it, Amarante is full of indescribable emotions. These emotions can be heard in one particular song Don't Look Back (Udana Prana - 2013) that was featured in a viral YouTube video that made headlines on every major news outlet all over the world. 
 Now nine years later, Amarante's music is going strong with the latest album, 'Creatures of the Cosmos' which can best be described as a love letter to space and the cosmos beyond where the imagination can reach.

 Going back a little further, in the Fall of 2019; Amarante released their 7th album The Other Side (Indie Drop Records). The Other Side is also the first release from Amarante that is available on a Vinyl record which is now available via our Shopify page accessible from here on our Spotify merch section.
