    Anchor & Braille is the alt-rock-flavored solo project of Stephen Christian, a byproduct of writing more material than he could use in, or that would be appropriate for, his former band Anberlin. The singer's music for the moniker has tended to be more personal in nature and more sonically restrained than the band's. Produced by Aaron Marsh of Copeland, Anchor & Braille's debut album, Felt, was released in 2009 by Wood Water and Federal Records. The Quiet Life followed in 2012 on Tooth & Nail, and after new singles began to appear in 2014 -- the year Anberlin disbanded -- Songs for the Late Night Drive Home was issued in early 2016. ~ Marcy Donelson, Rovi
