Biography
A dynamic performer, multi-award winner, and a charitable advocate, Hailey Benedict continues to make her mark as a rising talent in the Canadian country music industry. This guitar-wielding singer-songwriter has defied gravity, climbing the ranks from the emerging songwriter who was pulled in front of a sold out crowd at a Keith Urban concert to perform an original song, to national charting and touring artist in a few short years. Currently a finalist in the coveted Top of the Country program presented by SiriusXM Canada, Hailey recently finished a cross-country tour opening for sold-out crowds on Aaron Goodvin’s “It’s the Ride Tour”. She’s taken home 13 different awards thus far, including a CCMA for Interactive Artist of the Year and seven Country Music Alberta awards, and was the highest-charting independent CANCON single by a female in with her single, "Wanted You To", which hit #25 on the country charts. Hailey was also named a 2022 CCMA Rising Star nominee, and her viral videos have made her one of the most followed Canadian country artists on TikTok, which resulted in her being invited to perform for American Idol judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. A strong advocate for mental health and anti-bullying, Hailey supports several charitable foundations, and as a result of her efforts in the community, Hailey was honoured as one of the youngest ever Global Woman of Vision award recipients.
