Freetown, Cologne, Paris and Berlin - crossing borders is her second nature and inspires her musical creations as a singer and songwriter. Never defined by genre, her voice and songs are infused with her very own warm, delicate sound that carries emotional, personal, authentic stories.  With her roots stretching far across the African and European continents, Mariama, true to her Fulani nomad heritage, moves between places and across genre boundaries - finding and creating her own universe in the musical world of a global Africa.
