Biography

Billy Lowry produced, sang, and played nearly all instruments [piano, bass, guitar] on his first solo-album: “All The Same Monster”. Since its release in early 2022, the album has over 400k streams on Spotify alone! Not to mention other streaming sites; Billy is nearly sold-out of his online store of CD's and merch @ www.billylowry.com. Other instruments he learned for his latest release: a ukulele, a kalimba, ocarina, harpsichord, even an accordion. His genre ranges from alternative-indie to prog-rock pop. Billy Lowry grew up in Kenmore, WA where he first recorded himself on cassette tapes as a child, beginning guitar at age 8. All thru high-school, he took electives to study music theory & piano, and was in garage bands 'The Lizards’ & ‘Prison Oatmeal’. At A.S.U., he was in several 70’s era-type groups: ‘Nobody’s Fault’ & ‘Tie & Hired’. He then lived in L.A. for several years, where he was lead guitarist for EDM-rock band: ‘The Future?’. Billy toured the CA & NV circuit & also fronted Valley of the Sun bands: ‘Dave’s Not Here’, ‘The Fur Traders’, & ‘Echo Junction’ [bluegrass].
