Jemzel is a 16-year-old Filipino/Australian alternative artist and producer making music in a bedroom. She creates her music with the use of transparent song-writing based on personal experiences, thoughts, and emotions that resonate with a wide audience. Growing up in an environment and culture filled with music, Jemzel’s love for singing and playing instruments came to life early in her childhood. At the age of 11, she started using the internet to learn about music production and audio engineering. Shortly after her debut single - Epiphany - released in June 2022, she entered Triple J Unearthed High. Jemzel's sentimental songwriting led to her being crowned as Unearthed High 2022's 'Class Shakespeare'. Her evident versatility across genres, resonant pen game, and recognised talent in music and audio has made Jemzel a force to be reckoned with - all from the comfort of her bedroom.
