Instagram: @rushlights.music Rushlights (pronounced "rush-lites") were once used as cheap illuminators for common people while the wealthy enjoyed their candles. Rushlights is music for everyday people. The acoustic guitar is the calm, the electric guitar the raging disquiet. The music confronts the blue funk of today's world and shines back a little light. The sound unabashedly embraces alternative rock in all its purview. All the instruments and voices are currently performed and mixed by one person, a young medical doctor who works in emergency departments and is a regular witness to the vicissitudes of the human experience. Rushlights is not a band or solo project. It is an idea, an antidote to the emptiness of existence. Of which, a new song will be released every few months as part of a 5 album collective. Currently, based out of Salt Lake City but maybe someday in a city near you...
