Biography

Native of Subic Bay, Philippines DJ EM-D comes from a place of culture, uniqueness & talent. Moving to Oxnard, CA at the age of nine, EM-D was introduced to hip-hop & his musical knowledge expanded. Realizing how much hip-hop resonated with him, EM-D began to explore music at a higher level & his dream to become a DJ began to turn into a reality. Falling in love with the craft along with the creativity of blending, mixing two songs together and the reaction from the crowds, EM-D kept exploring all bounds of music & himself. In 2002, EM-D’s journey led him to Jesus Christ. From there, EM-D teamed up with his friend, Wes Harp to create the CHH internet radio station, Saving Lost Souls. They pushed the mission that words are powerful and if you allow music to, it’ll help through tough times. With all the good the station was putting out, it inspired EM-D to keep it going. He began to DJ for Genuine Life & other Northwest CHH artists. That opportunity in itself brought so much attention to EM-D that he knew he had to keep going. Summer 2015, EM-D DJed at the nation’s largest annual Christian music festival, Creation Festival. 100K people attended! The energy, support & love from the festival helped EM-D’s love for music grow even more and he continued to pursue his talent. From DJing for artists like NF, Propaganda, Bizzle & more to writing music. The upcoming DJ, artist & musician, DJ EM-D is not who people expected but exactly who everyone is going to need on their playlists.
