Biography
The moniker of Andrew Shockley, and named after a street connected to his childhood memories, Delafaye is an exceptionally gifted folk singer-songwriter, based out of Beechwood, Indiana (US). Of his past releases, his debut EP ‘The Hilltop’, garnered high praise with lead single ‘Time and Money’ receiving over two months local radio playlist rotation on WFPK and the resulting praise leading to a support slot for San Fermin at Headliners Music Hall and high profile supports for Cory Brannan, Blank Range, Arlie and many others whilst also gaining him a nomination for Singer-Songwriter of the Year at the Louisville Music Awards, eventually coming in runner up to Joan Shelley. The following year saw the release of second EP ‘Highlands’. which led to him making his US morning TV debut and playing shows both solo and full band around his native Kentucky and his first ever out of state shows. Live EP 'Air Devil Sessions' followed and then came his self-titled debut album in mid-2019. ‘Rose’ marked his long-awaited return two years later, and a succession of singles recorded at his home studio have since emerged as he lays the foundation for his next full length studio record.
