Biography

Seoul-based indie band, Glen Check consists of June One & Hyuk Jun. Since their debut in 2011, they consecutively won 2 Korean Music Awards in 2013 and 2014. Performing at international music festivals such as Summer Sonic (Japan), Nuits Sonores (France) and SXSW (USA), they continuously expanded their fanbase globally. Spending their early years in France, and US, and being exposed to wide scope of music growing up translated to Glen Check’s versatility in their creation. They aim to break boundaries between generations and art forms like Visual Art or fashion. Genres ranging from Electronica to Alternative Rock, their identity as artists is not limited to any specific style of music but to what they attempt to represent of youth and culture.
