Biography
Vince discovered his passion for music while performing in church at the age of six. Since then, he has dedicated himself to service as a Catholic missionary, speaker, author, artist, composer, director, and publisher. Vince has composed works for Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis. His composition, “Mass of the Glory of God,” was first English Mass setting ever performed at the main altar of St. Peter’s Basilica. It is now in the archives of the Vatican. Vince also performed his song, “Sanctuary,” during Communion at Mother Theresa’s funeral, having spent many joyous years in her presence. In 1992, Vince was nominated for three Grammy awards. He was honored with seven Unity awards (Catholic music awards) in 2001, including Artist of the Year. Vince has written several hundred works of sacred music and has produced over 500 songs for various artists and composers. He has recorded and performed with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of London, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and the Nashville String Orchestra. Today, Vince works tirelessly to improve Catholic worship music in the United State through his non-profit music publisher, International Liturgy Publications (ILP).
