Biography

Queer punk artist eevie echoes got her start by cutting her teeth at open mics around Brooklyn and soon began making a name for herself in the underground music scene due to her charismatic stage presence, knack for audience involvement, and trademark brand of sarcastic pessimism. Her music combines aspects of early 2000's pop punk, riot grrrl, ska, grunge, and a touch of Tom Morello. At the heart of her songs is unfiltered vulnerability as Eevie discusses everything from breakups and politics to transitioning, manipulative people, and struggles with mental health in her music. Eevie's most recent singles Letters U Wrote and Liar inducted her and her band into the Ska Punk International family. Letters U Wrote talks about religious trauma and dealing with feelings of rejection from family after coming out as queer and Liar is a Nirvana inspired track about lying to the people close to you to avoid damaging their feelings and perceptions of you. For her debut album, The Cons Of Being A Wallflower, Eevie invites her band The Locations into the creative fold to amplify, beautify and personify her songs in a completely new way. Alongside The Locations Eevie Echoes has played countless shows and put on some of the most memorable, emotional, mosh pit-inducing performances to be seen in the underground punk scene. The band has become known for always bringing raw power, pure emotion, and radical authenticity to each and every song. Love Hard. Fight Harder.
