Biography
Farewell To Fear was born out of the huge black hole that mainstream rock radio left during the absence of super rock stars like Metallica, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. The band revisits an era with big rock riffs, bigger choruses and huge anthems for a new generation of rockers. Their first full-length album New Blood generated 3 singles on SXM’s Octane, landing them at #1 on Amazon’s Hot New Rock Singles chart, #8 on iTunes, and earned them direct support from Howard Stern with the track, ‘Diamonds’ which recently eclipsed 2.8 million streams on Spotify. The band released their 2nd full length album "Voices" with the single ‘Underneath my Skin’ hitting #29 on the Billboard Rock Indicator Charts. The band performed at various rock festivals, touring with artists such as Fozzy, Like A Storm, Palisades and Flaw throughout North America and Canada, including performing on the ‘Rockin and Wrestling Rager at Sea’Cruise. The band immediately went back into the studio amidst the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic to release the ever timely single *‘I Won’t Be Your *Tragedy’ * which shot to #21 on the Billboard Rock Indicator Chart. POLARITY is the 3rd full-length album by FAREWELL TO FEAR and first album release with Crusader Records. The title says it all. POLARITY pulls roots from a variety of rock genres giving the listener a rollercoaster ride throughout. Heavy, melodic, raw, nostalgic, thrash, gritty, emotional, angst and even modern could be used to describe this album.
