Dear Euphoria aka Elina Johansson is one of the best hidden gems in Sweden. The music has been recognised by a curious dive into experimental Scandi folk, avant-gardism, electronic pop and cinematic soundscapes. With Elina’s intuitive feeling for mixing the awkward with the easily accessible, something solid is created in the midst of the indefinable. Electronic and acoustic elements are seamlessly sewn together and Elinas distinctive voice runs like the red thread through the pieces. The latest EP Nature is My Mother Now was released 2015 under the name Eli Na. It followed up the albums Dear Euphoria (2007) Heal My Violence (2009) and the EP This Night Will Flee (2010), which gathered an indie following through music blogs, YouTube and media mostly outside Elina's home country Sweden. European tours followed, such as in the UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands. After a few years under the radar, Dear Euphoria returned 2018-2019 with a couple of singles.
