Biography

Rising stars, Eighty Eight Miles are a colourful Indie Pop/Rock collective from the Midlands, UK. With their name originating from the hit movie trilogy “Back To The Future”, the foundation of their music is built upon a wide variety of inspirations such as Fleetwood Mac, Declan McKenna, Blossoms and The Beach Boys. 
 Described as “a well-oiled machine”, the group have made multiple appearances at major UK festivals including Truck Festival (for the second year running), YNOT Festival and 2000 Trees as well as completing their first UK tour in February 2023, which saw fans travelling from 7 different countries to see the band play their Birmingham show. The band consists of lead vocalist/guitarist Ellie Grice, drummer Dan Hobday, bassist Bekka Redfern, lead guitarist Max Bets-Patel and Ollie Newbury who graces the keys.
