Noah Nolastname was expanded from a solo project to a band in 2019, shifting directions from Bedroom folk to Alternative rock. Noah Nolastname is currently composed of three young pups from Columbus, Ohio and influenced by bands like Cage The Elephant, Wilco and G. Love & Special Sauce. Known for standout lyrics combining vulnerability and wry humor, the bands lyricism described by fans as “methodically planned yet emotionally charged.” Personal lyrics about failed relationships, life in the midwest and chronic anxiety weave their way through raw, eclectic instrumentals that have attracted listeners from all over the US and 80+ countries. Noah Nolastname spent most of 2019 redefining their sound and direction while writing what would be their first studio album, 2020’s Misery Loves Company. While recording, Noah Nolastname would place 2nd in the Quadio Midwestern Launch Competition, representing Columbus, Ohio and the band's university, Columbus State. 
 The singles from Misery Loves Company were released to much anticipation that spring, Jena’s New Favorite Color, a fast paced, jangly indie pop song quickly becoming one of the band's most popular songs with over 1 million Spotify streams to date. Misery Loves Company was released the first week of June and earned praise for it’s lyrical, technical and musical improvements.
