Biography
The Black and White Years is an indie rock band based in Austin, Texas. The band was discovered at SXSW in 2007 by @Talking Heads and @Modern Lovers member, Jerry Harrison. Harrison produced the band's debut LP and it was released in 2008. Since then, they've played festivals such as ACL, Fun Fun Fun Fest, MIDEM, and Wireless Festival. These days, The Black and White Years is primarily a solo recording project for singer songwriter Scott Butler.
