Biography

Harriet Brown is a Filipino-American artist, producer, songwriter and DJ based in Los Angeles, originally from the Bay Area, CA. His experimental electronic productions are heavily based in the songwriting traditions of R&B and Soul, from which he branches out to many different worlds of sound. He originally moved to LA in 2014 to release his first EP New Era on the small tape label Feel So Real, before going on to release two full-length albums – Contact (2017) and Mall of Fortune (2019) – through independent label Innovative Leisure. He has also been a resident host on NTS Radio since 2016, with his own monthly show, “All About Our Love”. Now, he’s starting anew with a fresh sound as he prepares to independently release his upcoming EP, Future Twang – a swift collection of five songs meant to embody the sound of a Sci-fi Vampire Western, fully written, produced and mixed by Harriet himself at Booted Man Studio in South Los Angeles.
