Biography

Born in Cardiff, South Wales, trained at London’s Mountview Theatre School. Won international acclaim when he created the role of Chris in the Original West End production of Miss Saigon at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, opposite Lea Salonga. Many leading West End roles have included: Young Elvis in the Original Award-winning Are You Lonesome Tonight?; Marius and Jean Valjean in RSC’s Les Misérables; Raoul and Phantom in The Phantom Of The Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre. Television: Seven Royal Variety Performances, ITV Standard Awards, Olivier Awards & B.A.F.T.A. Concerts: Friday Night is Music Night (Radio 2); Best of Bond – Carnegie Hall, New York; Best of Broadway - Sydney Opera House, Australia; Bond – Royal Albert Hall; Les Misérables Concert at Windsor Castle; Les Miserables Concert O2 Arena; Music of Bond & Elvis Symphonic – The Royal Albert Hall (Royal Philharmonic Orchestra). Simon performed in concerts in Europe sharing the bill with artists such as Robbie Williams, Nicole Scherzinger, Rod Stewart, Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey and Lionel Ritchie. The single, ‘Unconditional Love’, was recently written and released by Simon in memory of his mother’s passing, with proceeds going to charities.
