Biography

Sangie is a Malawian reggae/dancehall singer, songwriter, actress, and producer. Her career began when she made her first debut single, “I Do It All for Love” in (2013). She then later released other two popular singles “Ndangozizidwa” and “Mayi Wangilo” which gained her a place in the music industry. Sangie often takes inspiration from different women and their stories especially her Mother when making her music. In (2016) she became the Face of Airtel Internet, UNESCO STEP (Skills and Technical Education Program) Ambassador in (2017-2018) and later was appointed as UNICEF Champion for Children ambassador in (2018-2019).
