www.renatomothaepatricialobato.com This duo from Minas Gerais presents a subtle and beautiful work in constant evolution. They have released 20 albums (3 doubles) and 2 live DVDs in Brazil and abroad. In a light and original way, they blend many diverse musical genres: from Brazilian beats to Indian kirtans, honoring and universalizing through their talent the sounds of their land. Their latest release (2022) is a triple album based on the work of Fernando Pessoa´s heteronime Alberto Caeiro. In 2021, Renato Motha and Patricia Lobato released with Mauricio Tizumba Terreiro Zen. In 2020, Orquestra de Mantras (live in Inhotim). In 2019, they released "Amrit". In 2017, the double album "Dois em Pessoa - Vol. II", released by the couple on the work of the poet Fernando Pessoa; it was considerd the best Brazilian music release of the year in Japan. In 2010, they received from the Japanese Magazine Latina the Best Brazilian Album Award, for the CD "In Mantra", recorded live at Komyoji Temple in Kamakura - Japan.
