Biography

Daecolm is the quintessential definition of an eclectic Afropolitan artist. The Zimbabwean-born vocalist, writer and producer moved to London as a child, then to New Zealand, back to London and now, to Los Angeles. All through that time he maintained a strong connection to his home country of Zimbabwe - coming back home every year and infusing his music with influences and melodies from the songs that defined his cultural heritage and childhood. Daecolm has always infused his production and writing with elements of his homeland and has made it a point to return there at least once a year to collaborate with artists from the region. After spending years creating hits for other artists such as Chris Brown, Ty Dollar $ign and more, Daecolm is now focused on carving his own path as an Afro-R&B-Fusion artist with his own sound.
