Biography
Since moving to Nashville in 2011 Rhyan Shirley has become a BMI award-winning songwriter. Her songs have been sung by Bethel Music, Leeland, We Are Messengers, Colton Dixon, MDSN, Rachael Lampa, Jordan St. Cyr, David Dunn, Abby Robertson, Lloyd Nicks, Gateway Worship, Madison Street Worship, and many others. Rhyan started releasing songs for herself in 2020, and hasn’t looked back since. Pulling from her affinity for Lo Fi, her love for 1940s jazz, and deep roots in worship she found her niche and we’re so glad she did. When she’s not writing Rhyan enjoys being a wife, a mom, and serving in her local church. “If you’re here I hope you either know Jesus or your curiosity has been sparked. This music is an invitation to the preachers, leaders, skeptics, and cheaters. If you’re human then there is a seat at the table for you. There is love to be found and grace and mercy beyond your wildest expectations. Thank you so much for listening.”
