Biography
Through the GOON MASK, XONOR embodies the duality of having anger and frustration towards a system full of lies and empty promises while simultaneously trying to remain a functioning member of society. The band is known for playing a concert in Ukraine during the war. However, they actually have been exceeding expectations since their foundation in 2020. Despite the pandemic and lineup changes, they have built an international fanbase with thousands of followers on Social Media. They have regularly released music and played over 20 concerts, even supporting bands like Sodom and Vader at the MehSuff Festival in 2023. The group has seen massive growth, despite playing a genre that has supposedly been dead since before the members were born. By being unapologetic in their music and vocal about issues they care about, they strongly differentiate themselves from other Thrash Metal Bands of the current generation. XONOR is not afraid of calling out evil or injustice, even if it requires being considered offensive or extreme. Their Lyrics inspire thought without losing the fundamental aggressive nature of Thrash Metal. Rather than relying on basic, chromatic Riff-Salads, the band emphasizes engaging song structures and catchy hooks. Since its foundation in May 2020, the band has earned the title of ultimate Thrash-Metal Newcomer from Switzerland. https://xonorband.com XONOR: Donagh Ramseyer (Vocals and Rhythm Guitar) Luca Ramsauer (Bass Guitar)
