Biography

Founded in Denver, Colorado, Mnmlst (Minimalist) is a 4 piece Progressive Melodic Metalcore unit bringing new heights to its Colorado scene since August of 2019. 
 Their sound consists of punchy staccato breaks to catchy choruses, at times varying tempo changes and time signatures with devastating mid/low screams to high register clean singing that flows into complex instrumentation that consistently keeps the energy flowing presenting a mixed sound for fans of @Counterparts, Invent Animate, Currents, SLOTHREAT, The Afterimage and many more. Mnmlst blends all these elements from music that resonates with each member to create art that in hopes resonates with their listeners and fans. 
 The band released a debut single, Nomad (Fox) on August 9th of 2019, a debut music video on December 5th of 2019 followed by a debut EP titled “ANMLS” on December 13th of 2019 available on all streaming platforms. Adding to their catalog with “Destroy.” recently released in July 1st of 2022 brings another layer of instrumentation and a new take on MNMLST whilst still holding ties to their past record. The single touches light on the dark topic of racism, brutality and how us humans have roamed this earth nearly destroying everything we touch as humanity overtakes this current world in many ways. 
 Mnmlst is set to hit the road once again from July 15th ~ July 31st on their west coast tour with Castele hitting states varying from UT, NV, CA, OR, WA, MT, WY, and CO.
