     Petroglyphs is a five piece progressive/melodic/djent band from Sacramento, California. The group formed with the intent to create music that allows the listeners mind to wander while also provoking healing and growth. The songs reflect on the bands personal hardships and the pursuit to live a life with meaning and purpose. Petroglyphs brings a new found intensity and signature technical instrumentation, while also adding intense vocals and melodic grooves with moments of bone crushing heaviness. It's no surprise that the band has grabbed the attention from fans of various genres and styles of music. Their release of "ascension" in 2018 proved to be just the tip of the iceberg for what's to come. The upcoming 2020 album will help push the space-like melodic atmospheric signature sound into an even bigger and more dynamic direction leaving the listener floating in an out of body state. Finally giving their fans the music they've been waiting for, and making it one of the more game changing album releases of the year.
