Biography

Harmdaud was started early summer 2016 by Andreas Stenlund (Vocalist in TME and Gravisphere) who also was the sole member and songwriter in the band from the start. The music of this project can best be described as a mixture of melodic/atmospheric Black/Death and simply Metal. The lyrics are all in Swedish and moves around topics like loss, sorrow, life and death. Harmdaud released the debut album Blinda Dödens Barn in 2017 that got excellent reviews from several magazines. That album was produced by Vintersorg. Spring 2019 Harmdaud released the new album Skärvor through Art Gates Records. Skärvor continued the musical journey and was highly praised in media. With the album Andreas deepened the musical partnership with Mr. V that also sang clean vocals on two tracks. Spring 2021 Harmdaud released a cover of Flickan and Kråkan by the Swedish artist Mikael Wiehe. In May 2023 Harmdaud released the news that the next step in the musical story will be taken and that Mr. V (Vintersorg) will take place as a permanent member of Harmdaud. Mr. V has been producing the material from album 1, but will now contribute even more to the band as a full time member. The first single from the upcoming album was released July the 21:th.
