Biography

Utmarken was founded in 2015 by vocalist Mathias Gyllengahm and combines classic heavy metal/power metal with Scandinavian folk music harmonies and instruments. We're from the northern part of Sweden, Norrland, which has a special place in the lyrical theme and the lyrics are exclusively in Swedish. After two albums released and a number of shows in Sweden and Norway - 2019 was a successful year for us, with viral singles, festival gigs, not to mention opening for Raubtier on their sold out tour through Sweden, and given 2020 it seems it requires a lot to stop us!
